I don't by any means think everyone has been half naked in a Chicago alleyway, but I do think every person knows what it feels like to be vulnerable. To feel , in every sense but physically, completely pregnable to the world around us. For me art has been the vulnerability, its offered me the freedom of feeling like I have shed all facades and security blankets, instead opting for the cold waters of creative freedom. 

This piece incapsulates how those acts of vulnerability feel to me.

A City at Midnight

This was my first real apartment in Chicago, the best and worst part about the building was that it was built in the earl 1930s. The hallway looked like the shining, and even after I have moved somewhere objectively nicer I miss walking down this hall to do my laundry in the morning.
