"Life is an illusion. You will lucid dream tonight."

My genesis piece for Foundation here is Dreamcat, inspired by a relic from my childhood which was a mystical cat that I drew in a notebook in high school. Dreamcat comes to you in your dreams and visions and tells everyone this very same and exact quote. I created a character that is thus far now been recreated fully in 3D as a tribute to the one most awesome thing I drew when I was younger and now it has been fully realized in as perfectly fit of a situation for Dreamcat as I think/imagine Dreamcat would be living in and exactly how it would look like. This project took nearly 4+ months and 180+ hours total for research and development, sculpting, modeling, texturing, animation, testing, and test rendering. This doesn't include the final render which took about 52+ hours to completely finish and I am proud that it is now completely finished.

Background: Brain Damage is a style of art I have been drawing since High School now nearly and is so near and dear to my heart, with really creepy wide open cartoon eyes and just a vibe of a psychotic, mentally unstable and a very brain damaged world just chock full of everything imaginable, possible, and running rampantly wild.
