Loving and accepting all facets of myself has been an ongoing journey for me. We usually believe that loving oneself is straightforward and easy but if we are to dig deeper we'll see it's one of the most difficult things which also affects how we love others. For me personally, Yoga has been a catalyst in helping me listen, understand and love myself.

The Ancient Greeks had eight words that corresponded to different types of love. Here I present to you my take on 5 of them.

AGAPI

Familial Love

Storge is a natural form of affection experienced between family members.

This protective, kinship-based love is common between parents and their children, and children for their parents.
