ใ€ๆซ›ๅ็”ฐๆฏ”ๅฃฒ / Kushinadahimeใ€‘ Kushinadahime is the wife of Susanoo and the goddess of fertility. She was supposed to be eaten by Yamata-no-Orochi, but she was saved by Susanoo. Susanoo turned Kushinadahime into a comb and equipped it on his head and he defeated Yamata-no-Orochi. After that, Susanoo married Kushinadahime.

ใ€Meaningใ€‘ โ€œๆซ›/kushiโ€ means โ€œcombโ€. โ€œๅ/naโ€ means โ€œnameโ€. โ€œ็”ฐ/daโ€ is means โ€œrice fieldโ€ . โ€œๆฏ”ๅฃฒ/himeโ€ means โ€wife of godโ€ .

ใ€Conceptใ€‘ The overhead comb is a figure of herself transformed by the power of Susanoo. Since she is a god of fertility, I drew it with the rice field as a motif.
