Abaporu in Cat's Leap

The piece is a digital manipulation of "Abaporu" by Tarsila do Amaral, one of the most relevant pieces of Brazilian Modernism, a world-renowned movement. In this reinterpretation created in 2019, Abaporu is using a plataform sandal known in Brazil as “Pulo de Gato”, which in english is translated into something like "cat jumping", and the sandal is digitally edited with graphic prints of the INSERTO collective.
