Lava Falls

Witnessing Firefall has always been a dream of mine, and last year it became a reality. We did a week send to Yosemite with our main goal being to capture Firefall from as many unique angles as possible. On day 1, I was so excited and filled with emotions and full of energy for the entire day. As sunset arrived, the weather didn't cooperate (too cloudy) and had no luck in seeing the phenomenon. Day 2, 3, 4 & 5 came with the same outcome. Feeling defeated, I almost gave up and went home as the weather for the 6th day wasn't looking promising. I ended up staying and hoping that this would be the day. As sunset arrived, the scene wasn't looking great, when all of a sudden the clouds parted and at last, there it was. One of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. The crowd started screaming with love and laughter as we saw the first sighting of Firefall in 2021.
