This NFT shows a short video of traffic passing onto a zebra crossing changing shape every time a car is about to cross in the Swiss village Allschwil near Basel. Zebra is a surrealist piece, it looks at what is familiar and hijacks it, transforming it into an absurd and also comic-moving image of what reality could be like.

The work is related to the series called «Shape Studies» in which photographs and video recordings of places, objects, and living beings are digitally modified. It is about exploring a shape and working out different ways it can be represented and perceived. The work researches the intersection and the dialogue of real and digital environments.

The Sound of The Shadows

Borrowing the title from Italo Calvino’s eponymous novel as a kind of travelogue to imaginary cities, the following selection of works pays tribute to how vivid and detailed imagination can be.

From designers, architects, and artists, we focused here on the idea of a journey or a time capsule into otherworldly cities that defy quantum possibilities – this series of NFTs is set from the point of view of a multiverse adventurer gallivanting from parallel natures to other cosmos and macrocosm.
