Composer and performer Cristina Spinei has garnered a reputation as one of Music City’s most forward-thinking musicians. While she has written for orchestra and chamber ensemble, she is most known for her work with ballet, having been commissioned by Parsons Dance Company, the New York Choreographic Institute, and many more. Self-described as “minimalish,” Cristina anchors her musical ideas in melody, movement, and loops. She studied composition at Juilliard.
